  • 1 pound of beef

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 celery chopped
  • 2 garlic
  • 1/2 cups corn
  • Potatoes for meat pie
  • 1 potato
  • 1 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 heaping tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 carrots chopped

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cans of beef consomme


  • Beef Meat Pie Recipe - The Flaky Pie Crust

    In a food processor:

  • Combine 3 cups of flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • Add one cup and 3 tablespoons of crisco lard to flour then pulse the food processor until the mixture resembles coarse meal
  • Add in 8 - 12 tablespoons of cold water while you pulse the food processor while combining items
  • Transfer to the counter or bread board and press to form a dough
  • Divide the dough into 2 parts
  • Shape each section into a ball and then flatten the dough slightly to form a disk
  • Rap in plastic and chill the dough for 1 hour

  • In a large pan on medium heat fry the mixture of beef, salt, and pepper until light brown
  • Add to beef potato, onion, carrot, and celery to the beef mix and let cook for 5 mins
  • Mix in the corn, garlic, paprika, thyme, onion powder and worcestershire sauce and cook for 5 mins
  • Mix in tomato paste
  • Push food aside the meat mixture from the middle of the pan to add the olive oil and flour then mix together
  • Mix in the beef broth and cook on a low heat until the veggies are done



  • Beef Meat Pie Recipe - Putting The Beef Pie Together:

  • Roll out the bottom pie crust and then place it into and covering the pie baking dish
  • Add in the beef pie filling on top of the pie crust in the baking dish
  • Roll out the remaining pie dough into a thin layer and place it on top of beef meat pie as shown in my video
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown or about 25 minutes.
