In a cast iron pan add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and preheat the pan at a medium heat. Add the salmon into a medium heated pan and let it cook half way then flip over the salmon and then add salt & pepper.
Add 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 slices of fresh lemon and a head of fresh dill to the salmon. You can also add more butter if needed. Add lemon flavored butter over top of salmon while cooking. When the salmon is finished cooking put it in a bowl and lightly break the salmon into smaller chunks.

Cut baguette in half then place in the pan that the salmon was in to soak up all that delicious butter into the bread. Then put baguette under a broiler to lightly toast it and rub garlic on the toasted bread top.
In a bowl mix the salmon with 2 heaping tablespoons of the mayonnaise sauce (that we made earlier) along with 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of fresh dill.
Put salmon on the baguette and add some lettuce and one finally chopped green onion to finish the sandwich off.
